The switch was in the wrong place
Bedswitch started with a very ordinary problem: a bedroom where the light switch is next to the door and the bed is on the far wall. Every night, the same choice. Get up, or sleep with the light on.
The "smart" fixes didn't fit. A smart switch means an electrician and, for renters, a landlord. A smart bulb dies the moment someone flips the wall switch out of habit. The app-controlled button pushers need a phone, Bluetooth range, and a hub to work from another room.
So we went looking for the simplest possible answer: leave the switch exactly where it is, and give it a remote. A small motorized arm that sticks next to the switch and presses it for you. A remote for the nightstand. A wireless button you can stick wherever the builder forgot to put a switch.
No app. No hub. No account. It sticks on in about a minute and peels off when you move.
