Honest note: Bedswitch works on rocker (flat paddle) switches and push buttons. It does not work on toggle switches, the small lever kind. Check yours below before you order. Will it work on my switch?
If your switch is a flat rocker (paddle) or a push button, yes. If it's a toggle lever, not yet. When in doubt, order it, and if it doesn't fit, the guarantee covers you without a return.
Does my switch still work by hand?
Yes. The arm sits beside the switch, not on top of it. Press the switch yourself any time.
How far does the remote reach?
It's a radio remote, not infrared, so it doesn't need a line of sight. It works from bed, from the couch, and from the next room.
Is it loud?
A soft click, about like pressing the switch by hand.
How is it powered?
The arm has a built-in rechargeable battery and charges over USB-C with the included cable. At a few presses a day you'll charge it rarely. The remote and the wall button use small replaceable batteries.
Will the adhesive damage my wall or switch plate?
It's designed to peel off cleanly from smooth painted walls and plastic switch plates. On textured or freshly painted walls, test a small spot first.
